The last class before we break for Christmas is on December 16th. Classes resume after the festive season on January 6th 2025.

 

Please note that as of December we increased class fees to £7.50 pay as you go, or £35 in advance for 5 classes.

Happy New Year One and All

Apologies for the disruption to services towards the end of last year. We are back up and running again now, although with a slightly reduced availability, because there just aren’t enough hours in the day to cover the geography for all home visits.

The good news however is that a delightful lady with buckets of experience in rehabilitation has recently left the NHS to set up a private service. She is offering home visits in and around the Debenham locality. A trained OT, she has many skills to offer and help get you back up and ‘running’! Sorry for the lack of updates since the summer. Time has just flown.

Important Dates for your Diary....

Christmas hours.. I am working upto and including the 20th December, when I will be in Framlingham at Framlingham Physiotherapy Practice.

Return after the Christmas period will be Tuesday 3rd January 2023, which again will be in Framlingham.

Monday 25th July 2022

This year we have decided to continue with the classes throughout the school summer break. Although I have a couple of weeks off in August. 

No classes on the 1st August

I've also had to increase the class price slightly, £6.50 per class or pay for 5 in advance for £30. Either pay at the class or via bank transfer. Remember I have my little card machine if you would like to pay by card.

Sunday 18th June 2021

Tomorrow is our last class at Stradbroke before we break for summer. Lots of you have Grand-parenting duties over the school holiday, so lets enjoy the family!

Sunday 16th May 2021

We return tomorrow for  face to face classes at Stradbroke for the chair exercise class. Everyone is welcome. 2pm at the Community Centre. We have the larger room and social distancing will be respected. 

No teas and coffees as yet, but stay behind for a chin wag if you like.

Sunday 10th January

In the light of the virus rates locally we have made the decision not to make any home visits for another 2 weeks, Framlingham Physio will remain closed during this period as well. We will review the situation prior to the last week in January and update things at that time. Stay safe, keep well. Apologies for the disruption this causes you, it is not an easy decision we have taken, but feel it is the best thing for everyone.

Tuesday 5th January 

Sadly we all face another lockdown. At the moment we have taken the decision at Framlingham physio to close the doors. The virus is rife amidst the community with the new variant being even more transmissible. 

I will not be performing home visits either, just until rates have become more manageable.

This is not a decision we take lightly, but one we have made for the safety of everyone.

 

Please stay safe everyone and lets ride this storm together.

Friday 7th November

Unfortunately classeshave ceased again. Chair exercises, normally held at Stradbroke will continue via Zoom. 2pm on Monday. If you wish to partake then please contact me directly and I will send information on how to join the session.

​

Face to face consultations will continue; both 1:1 at Framlingham physio and home visits. Risk assessments have been conducted and full PPE is worn as recommended by Public Health England. If anyone has concerns, of course please raise them prior to your appointment.

 

 

Sunday 6th September

Classes have now resumed at all but Mills Meadow.

Home visits are now running, I am wearing full PPE and ask that you wear a mask.

1:1 appointments are also taking place at Framlingham physio. I am there all day on a Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Full PPE is worn and we ask you to wear as mask.

 

Sunday 26th July

I aim to recommence classes at Stradbroke and Debenham week beginning September 7th. More information to follow.

 

Sunday 5th July

So, we are back at Framlingham Physiotherapy treating people face to face where necessary. Full PPE is being worn and we are asking patients to wear a face covering. Obviously if you are displaying symptoms of COVID 19 then we ask you not to attend.

My days in are Tuesday and Thursday mornings.

Classes have not resumed as yet. I continue to run the Monday classes on zoom. I think in reality it will be nearing the end of the summer when we can consider exercising indoors together safely. I will keep you updated here.

Sunday 22nd March

Classes at Mills Meadow, Stradbroke Community Centre and Debenham Leisure Centre are now cancelled until further notice.

I will be running live on- line classes timings to be confirmed in due course. I am exploring the best way to do this so that you can see me and you can allow me to see you.

Corona Virus

Like everyone, we are being guided by the government in terms of our actions at this very difficult time. I will endeavour to keep this site updated; currently I am looking into running some classes online. So watch this space.  Keep safe and well.
